Trade Room

Live veto counts, one card per open trade

NO OPEN TRADES

When a trade is accepted on ESPN it appears here with a live veto count and a countdown to the voting cutoff. Every manager gets a magic link by email — bookmark it once and it works all season.

How A Trade Runs

Straight from the league guidelines

1

Accepted on ESPN

The clock starts the moment the trade is accepted. ESPN notifies the league, this room posts the card automatically with both rosters and the time, and the 24 hours begin. Nobody posts a poll and nothing can be voided for a formatting mistake.

2

The league votes for 24 hours

Voting closes 30 minutes before the 24-hour mark. If you believe you voted in time, the GM who voted last sends the commissioner a screenshot.

3

12 vetoes take it down

Twelve veto votes kill the trade. Anything short of twelve and it stands.

4

Result emailed to the league

Four updates go out over the window, one every six hours, so you can watch the count without coming back here. A fifth announces the result at close.

Things That Catch People Out

The expensive ones

TRADING FOR AN ALREADY-INJURED PLAYER (DTD OR O) MEANS YOU TAKE ON FULL RISK, REGARDLESS OF ANY UPDATED TIMELINE. If a healthy player is injured during the review period, the GM receiving him may cancel without fault — that is a different situation.

A free agent you just picked up cannot be traded for seven days. Waiver pickups are tradeable immediately. The difference matters.

Changed your mind? Thirty minutes to reach the commissioner. The third time costs $50, and there is no fourth.

More than five trades with the same team puts every further trade between you into a 48-hour extended review.

Ballots are public. Everyone sees who voted which way.

You can change your vote any time before the cutoff. The last one counts.

Voting with someone else's link is a finable offence. Amount to be set by the commissioner.
